About EchoIndex

Last updated: April 5, 2026

EchoIndex helps people make sense of crypto market narratives faster, without turning every headline into a trade button.

Mission

Crypto markets move on narratives: regulation, ETFs, macro headlines, security incidents, and institutional actions. EchoIndex exists to make that narrative layer easier to read, check, and revisit when the market starts moving fast.

What we built

EchoIndex collects public crypto news from thousands of source sites, applies automated analysis, and turns that flow into a readable sentiment index with supporting news views.

  • Dashboard views for BEI, topic heat, and latest stories.
  • News views for source-level verification and deeper reading.
  • Account-linked features such as sign-in, basic profile settings, and saved news.

Who we are

Service operator: EchoIndex Team.

Legal notice and the responsible content contact are published on the Impressum page.

What EchoIndex is not

EchoIndex is an informational product. It does not provide investment advice, trading advice, legal advice, or tax advice.

How the product behaves today

The current production system analyzes recent Bitcoin-related news, groups repeated coverage together, and rolls selected story types into the Bitcoin Echo Index (BEI).

In the current implementation, only official_filing, official_announcement, official_ruling, reported_event, developing_event, and unconfirmed items directly contribute to BEI. The live score is maintained in 5-minute buckets and updated from event-level state.

Contribution is strongest when a story first appears or gains fresh confirmation, and then fades with age. If you want the full step-by-step explanation of scoring, grouping, and limits, start with the Methodology page.

History

EchoIndex is still evolving quickly. Features may change, be removed, or become limited by region, infrastructure, or third-party availability.
