Cookie Policy
Effective date: March 14, 2026 | Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how EchoIndex uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.echoindex.io/.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies may also store or read information on your device.
2. Why we use cookies
- Strictly necessary authentication and session continuity when you use login or protected pages.
- Security-related state handling for authentication flows and account protection.
- Basic preference or convenience storage where implemented.
3. Cookie categories
Based on the current application code, EchoIndex mainly relies on essential authentication and session-related browser state. EchoIndex also loads a Google tag for Google Ads measurement and conversion reporting.
The Google tag is configured with Google Consent Mode defaults that deny ad, personalization, user-data, and analytics storage unless consent controls update that state.
4. Managing your preferences
You can manage browser cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in, session continuity, or protected page access.
5. Third-party cookies
Third-party providers such as Supabase may set or rely on browser state related to authentication and session management. Their processing is governed by their own policies in addition to ours.
6. Similar browser storage
EchoIndex may also use browser storage other than cookies for limited convenience features, such as temporarily caching UI state in your browser.
You can clear browser storage through your browser settings, but doing so may remove stored UI preferences or convenience state.
7. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy and will revise the last updated date accordingly.
